TDS136 - floating drum oil skimmer

The Elastec TDS136 Skimmer shares many of the same applications as the TDS118 with twice the recovery rate. A big difference is that this model can be supplied with our ES400 Helical Screw pump for heavy oil transfer.

The Elastec TDS136 is widely used in industry where it is commonly used on a continuous basis in steel mills, oil refineries, API separators and other locations where oil needs to be skimmed daily. The offloading pump may be mounted on the skimmer for high head applications, alternatively the collected oil can simply be drained to storage. The skimmer is available with hydraulic or pneumatic motor.

The TDS136 is capable of recovering both light and heavy oils with very low water content - typically around only 2 to 3%. The motor, gearbox and drums are capable of thousands of hours of trouble free operations. The scrapers are self-adjusting to allow for wear. A trough guard can be fitted to the front of the skimmer.

The lightweight aluminum frame is anodized for superior corrosion protection.

Available with our ES400 Helical Screw pump and steam coil heating. Disc and Brush inserts are also available.

Grooved Drums are available for enhanced recovery rates.
